It’s been a while since I’ve had this feeling. After spending over 3 months in the Netherlands, working hard on university and recovering from a nasty injury on my ribs, it’s finally time to go out and play again.
Together with Rush Sturges, Patrick Camblin, Ben Marr, Lachie Caracher, Anthony Yap and Ben Brown I will be spending 2 weeks on the Salween river in the Yunnan province of China.
The Salween has been on my list of favorites for many years now. A world class big water river that flows through a scenic area in the outlets of the Himalayas.
Only the 800 km travel from Kunming to Gongshan in a zero English speaking country is keeping me away from some world class kayaking. It will be an adventure.
